Earth Day Challenge 2017 Results
Commuter Services of Pennsylvania has announced its 2017 Earth Day Challenge winners. A total of 352 participants logged 70,915 miles while commuting by biking, walking, transit, vanpooling, carpooling, riding the train and teleworking to work.
Grand Prize Winner
Christina D’Annunzio, a resident of Lower Paxton, Dauphin County was selected as the Grand Prize winner of the Earth Day Challenge. D’Annunzio carpooled to her job in York County, one day and logged a total of 48 miles.
Other winners were randomly selected and won commuter prize packs. They were:
Corinne Gibilterra, a resident of Hershey in Dauphin County, walked once to her job and logged 2 miles.
Rita Fisher, of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, reduced 30 commute miles by teleworking for her job three times.
