Transit & Train

Going by transit or train is a great way for commuters to save money as well as wear and tear on their vehicles. And they can use the commute to read or relax.

Employers who accommodate transit find they can expand their labor pool to better recruit workers. They can help employees take advantage of transit by considering whether work hours allow transit use or by using pre-tax purchases of transit passes or Edenred vouchers or cards where these are accepted. Most of the local transit providers below accept Edenred vouchers or cards.

Public transportation services in Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties are provided by our six Commuter Services transit partners.

What if I Need to Get Home for an Emergency?

If you use commuting options like transit or the train at least twice a week, the Emergency Ride Home Program provides you with a reimbursement for a ride home in the event of an emergency, for example, if you need to take a taxi.
